Pernem Police arrested Joseph Osuagwu Kelechi (40), a Nigerian national, after a raid at Pethechawada, Corgao on 29 November. Police seized 13 Ecstasy tablets (3.66g), 23.88g Charas, ?9,600 cash, and a Yamaha Fascino scooter worth about ?1.05 lakh.
A case under NDPS Act Sections 20(b)(ii)(A) & 22(b) has been registered. Further probe is underway.
